Step 1
Refer to the tag on your pillows for specific care instructions, and adhere closely to the manufacturer's recommendations.
Step 2
If no tag is present, wash the pillows in hot water on the delicate cycle. Your regular detergent is fine.
Step 3
Run the pillows through an extra rinse cycle (or two) to ensure that all of the soap has been washed out of them.
Step 4
Then, run the pillows through an extra spin cycle (or two) to get out as much water as possible.
Step 5
Toss them into the dryer with several tennis balls. This will help to squeeze more water out of the pillows, and speed the drying time.
Step 6
After the cycle is complete, check the pillows for dryness. Continue running them until they feel completely dry.
Step 7
If you're not sure you got all of the moisture out of your pillows, set them out in the sun for a few hours to finish drying.
